A superb Victorian silver long guard chain dating from the latter half of the 19th Century, circa 1890. It's well made comprising round silver links and eight fancy bar links, as well as a swivel fastener. At 60 inches in length it can be worn long, even doubled up. With control marks indicating it was made in France.
