Few watch brands are as respected or revered within the watch world as the 3rd oldest watchmaker, Vacheron Constantin, whose doors opened in 1755. Known most notably for their quality of craftsmanship and design whether it is an ultra-complicated moon phase calendar or a simple dress model. There is a reason Vacheron Constantin belongs to the “Holy Trinity” of watchmaking, and it's the brand's precise execution that transcends generations and a devotion to innovation that has solidified its regaled position within horology.

The most celebrated element of ultra-thin watches is, of course, the movement. For good reason too, these mechanical marvels of engineering are the personification of precision and have inspired some of the most sophisticated and creative timepieces. The Vacheron Constantin ref. 1003 ultra-thin movement is based on the JLC ebauche 803 movement, and allows for the entire watch to measure in at 6mm thick. 

CASE & BRACELET

The impressively thin and remarkably elegant 18K white gold case measures only 6mm thick. The case itself is very well-preserved, showing no notable elements of wear or obvious signs of polishing. The watch comes supplied on a Vacheron Constantin 18k white gold mesh bracelet that is believed to be original to the watch, the bracelet exhibits no stretch and will fit up to a 7 1/4-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The simple yet striking glossy black dial is very well preserved with the only element of age being nominal tonal marks at the center hand stack that are invisible to the naked eye. The white gold hands are in excellent condition.

ACCESSORIES 

None. The watch is keeping time, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be provided upon request.
